Hosta Hans (M)

This sport of H. Andrew has similar traits, but with much more vigor.  The corrugated, puckered and folded leaves with ruffling at the base are striking.  In mid summer the center of the leaf blotches with green streaks giving this plant better vigor.  This is a slow grower that needs a special place in the garden.  Bright morning sun, adequate fertilizer and moisture will pay off.  Pale lavender flowers in late spring.  NOTE:  These are selected liners.
