Commonly called National Road (TM) Pond Cypress.  This is one of the hardiest selections of pond cypress.  This cypress was selected and named by Earl Culley.  The original plant was planted sometime in the 1830's by a German immigrant family along the old National Road in rural Norwich, OH.  With 180 years of weather records, there is solid evidence that it is easily hardy to minus 28F!  Plant Sun-Shade.  Zones 5-10
