Abies nordmanniana 'Broom H'

A dwarf, flattened globose selection of Nordmann fir with exceptionally dense branching and needles. Foliage is dark green in color with silvery undersides. With age, mature plants will develop a lead shoot and will become squatly conical, but will continue to be very tight and dense. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 10 inches (25 cm) tall and 18 inches (45 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of 1 to 2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm).
