(Van Engelen) Allium caesium has gorgeous, pale sky-blue globes. Each 4" wide globe is comprised of dozens of florets accented with variable indigo-blue midveins, indigo-blue anthers and paler, almost white centers. Its long-lasting flowers mature to a more lavender-gray color in the garden and the vase after weeks of bloom.  Adored by bees, butterflies and pollinators. Should be planted in substantive cluster for the best effect. Zone 4-7
