(Van Engelen) Like Allium Globemaster, Pinball Wizard is a prized cross of A. macleanii and A. chrisophii. Standing about 10" shorter than Globemaster, Pinball Wizard has densely compacted silver glinted,m lilac-purple globes that grow from 6-8" wide. Each globe is comprised of hundreds of tightly compacted, star-shaped florets that mature into garden sentries of dried seed pod orbs that are hauntingly beautiful. The color appears to change dramatically in low and high sunlight, from deeper purple to paler reddish-purple. It is rabbit, rodent and deer resistant and adored by bees, butterflies and helpful pollinators. Zone 5-7
