Cornus kousa 'Satomi'

This is the best known of the pink Cornus kousa selections.  Flowers are a rich variety of muted pinks.  The leaves are also tinted with a bit of maroon giving summer-long interest.  Its growth is upright and strong.  This dogwood almost never develops he disease problems associated with C. florida.  Plant in full sun.  (Zones 5-8)
