A beautiful new, hard to find species form of Delphinium from northern Russia and China. It has a very interesting zig-zagging stem that accented with dark maroon/purple. It has wide felted greyish-green leaves. The flowers are a beautiful shade of purple for the summer garden with a. black 'eye' in the center. As the plant matures, there will b e multiple racemes of flowers. Plant sun to part shade in average to moist soil. Hardy to Zone 3.
