Description

Produces tall spikes of small lemon-yellow flowers, often with brown spotted throats. Cutting back stems after first-blooming will encourage additional flowering. It is an evergreen perennial that is short-lived, so it should be frequently divided. Self sows and will naturalize, if some seed stems are allowed to mature. All parts of the plant are toxic. Attracts butterflies. Plant sun to part shade. Zone 4-9
