Description

Quite common in the U.K., but quite rare in the U.S., Darrell Probst received his original of this cultivar from Dean Hinkley upon their first meeting in 1995. 'White Queen' has handsome, medium-sized, dark green arrow-shaped leaflets on stems to 14". It produces no second growth flush. The edges of leaflet are flushed red in spring, while masses ofd large pure white flowers bloom just below the foliage. Plant in well-drained yet moist fertile soil in dappled shade or morning sun. Once established may tolerate dry shady gardens.
