Epimedium macrosepalum 'Sweet Rachel' NEW 2023

This beautiful, smaller foliaged form has very shiny, bright burgundy leaves in winter, if grown in some sun. The ground-hugging, heart-shaped leach have the texture off the finest leather. Same beautiful, large rose pink flowers as the species and a reliable bloomer, but with very few flowers. Spreads by rhizomes which grow from 4-12" a year. EVERGREEN. Plant in well-drained yet moist fertile soil in dappled shade or morning sun. This epimedium is drought tolerant.
