(Rick Goodenough) LIMITED! A very large bold spring yellow with rippled leaf edges which is a beacon in the early garden. Leaves are beautifully formed and become quite rugous with age. As the leaves begin to unfold in the spring, they often exhibit interesting random angular creases which almost look like carved Viking runes. Hence the name Dighton Rock, known in New England for undeciphered stone etchings from a distant past. Rick says that H. Dighton Rock presently has not yet grown outside of my garden, so it is a 'one of a kind' as of this offering.
