Hosta Raucous Ruffles (M)

(Don Dean) This distinctive blue-green plant is a standout with its deeply rolling ruffles, puckered texture and folded leaves that expose their white undersides. Struts its best stuff when planted in a half day or more sun in the north, adjust further south. Rough and tough substance makes for a perfect contrast to the softer appearing smooth leafed plants. Blooms mid season. Sun tolerant in the north and needs the sun to show off the characteristics.
