Before H. Empress Wu, this was the largest of the hosta varieties.  The broadly ovate leaves are 16" and form a huge mounded form.  The leaves are of good substance, corrugated, and glossy giving them good slub resistance.  Leaf color will vary with the amount of available sun from light green o chartreuse to gold; prefers 1/4 to 3/4 day of sun.  Pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers on 48" scapes in mid to late summer. NOTE: THESE ARE YOUNG DIVISIONS!
