(Naylor Creek 2005) Large pointed, pie crusted leaves emerge in spring with a clear bright butter-yellow center surrounded by a dark green margin. Yellow center holds a few weeks then darkens. The process is not even and some portions turn chartreuse, others pale green. Don't be surprised when the marking disappears, it will come back next spring.
