This umbrella magnolia is an attractive deciduous tree, native to the eastern United States.  The very large leaves appear at the end of the branches which gives the appearance of an umbrella.  There are 4 seasons of interest with this particular magnolia with their large showy spring flowers, rosy red fruits, and smooth grey bark. Fast growing.  Partial shade to fairly deep shade. (Z5-8)
