A very vigorous Japanese selection of Solomon's seal that forms a patch of finger-like rhizomes, from which emerge 2' tall stems with egg-shaped green leaves, flecked with creamy white.  As the plant ages, the leaves form a creamy-white border while retaining the flecking,  Small white bells dangle beneath the stems in spring.  Although the plant grows well in shade, it is much more vigorous with a few hours of sun.  Plant sun to shade.  Zones 4a-9b
