Shelina's Beauty is an extremely hardy variegated maple with color year round. In the spring and summer the leaves exhibit a creamy yellow pigment to go along with the normal green color. There is even different variations on how the leaves are variegated. Some have the yellow speckled along the green and others have large splotches of the yellow color. Some leaves have more yellow than other. The new growth is an orange-red color for about three weeks before it turns to the normal yellow-green variegation. In fall te leaves turn to a burgundy mixture consisting of reds and pinks with a light yellow in the creamy variegated portiion of the leaf. Excellent for landscaping as a shade tree as well as ornamental tree.
