Known as Noble Rhubarb from the Himalayas:  it is a unique amazing perennial that erupts with a tapering spire of tightly layered creamy colored bracts on a strong tall stem.  Adding to its charm are the pleated heavily veined basal leaves creating a low skirt.  Not a lot of experience growing this in the US, some sources indicate Z6-9 and others Z4-7.  It is an slow grower that is reported to prefer well-drained, moist soils.  Plant full sun to part shade.
