A hybrid of the mid-eastern U.S. native has creeping stems packed with whorls of small, rounded green leaves and white, star-like flowers in the spring. Flowers appear between May and June.  Makes a good groundcover and a good food source for native bees and butterflies. Has exceptional vigor. Full sun to part shade.  Good in a railway garden.
